Limoneros...

Today was an awesome day, I worked a little in the morning and then went to the house of my friend Michelle, we were going out to a cafe, we got a little late there because we had to finish something from our project, a little side bar menu that had to be changed at the last moment, we finished quickly and went to take the bus to go to the cafe by the name of "Limoneros", this particular cafe was new for us, I didn't know where it was exactly, but I had heard that it was a cool place from a friend.

The only thing I knew the location was that it was near "Tec de Monterrey", and that it was in the "Thomas Fernandez" avenue, but other than that google didn't help much. So we did the natural thing (not too natural in normal people I think) and asked people about it, the first person knew where it was, not too far away from where we were, so we got there and asked for the menu since we were starving :P, the place looked good, the food looked nice and all, and the drinks and desserts too.

Lucky us they had a special (well, this is almost all weekdays, except weekends) for a sandwich a salad, a cold salad and a drink (which I must say that was freaking awesome, a natural lemonade with mineral water), actually all the food was good, and it was a lot, we both got satisfied with it... actually we got pretty full :P, and it was worth it, and the best part was that it was cheap, it was like 65 pesos for all that (for each), I pay almost the same at wendy's and I don't get that satisfied :P, we wanted to try some desserts but we were pretty full, so we took a walk before that.

After eating we wanted to go to a park, but there was none, so we got to a place where there was some grass and shadow and settled there and talked for a while, after that we went there again for a dessert, I asked for an apple strudel and a drink by the name of "una mentada" and Michelle asked for a kozobo (or something like that) which is the specialty there (according to the person that attended us who looked like the owner :P) and something like a lemon pie.

Both desserts were pretty awesome, and the drinks too, from what I remember they were express coffee with condensed milk, ice and probably something else, mine had mint too, that was the only difference between our drinks, lol, but it made some difference (I think it was mint liquor, not just mint :P), we spend more in the desserts than in the food, but they were good too, so I don't feel scammed XD.

All in all an awesome day at "Limoneros", I enjoyed everything there.

Oh, and finally our project got presented to the client, we saw our other friend that works with us at hitosoft after he presented it and told us that the client was satisfied with it, he wants some other things for it, but that is another history :P

P.S.:
I will try to take more photos next time :P

My "Una Mentada", the straw had the layers intact after I  mixed it, that little green part is the mint :P
