So, some week ago Steam started to give support to Free to Play games, I wasn't too excited about it, most of them were MMORPG's and I didn't want to play any of those. They released 4 games at first, none of which I was interested in, but last week they made available a game from their repertoire for free, so anyone who has a Steam account has access to this game.
It was Team Fortress 2, an online FPS that, from what I have heard, is awesome, it has been around since 2007 and people still play it. So, I download it and, even though I haven't had that much time, start to play it, I have been in offline mode (a.k.a. training mode) to get a hold of the game, and I can say that it really is entertaining and can be addictive. Well, 2 hours in almost a week, i'm still not addicted to it :P
On another note, it seems that it was raining for a moment a few minutes ago, it smells like wet sand.

you mean wet dirt! :P i kid, i kid
ReplyDeleteLOL, I tried to google it and found sand first, so I went with it, but now that you say it, it makes more sense (and I think I have heard it this way), even though deserts are made of sand, not dirt :P, thanks for clarifying XD
ReplyDeletefree games? Why? Is there ads while you play?
ReplyDelete@chuy No, it has a micro transaction service, they sell vanity items like hats, weapons and some other things, and since they were making more money from that, Steam made the game available to everyone, in the end it might represent bigger numbers :P, and since the game doesn't change if you have a normal or premium account there is no need to buy anything.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I had never heard of that....
ReplyDeleteAs far as I knew it was restricted to some mmo's :P
ReplyDeleteI've heard that game is pretty cool!! :)
