...my laptop has not been blessed by it. Today it turned off 2 times because of overheating, the hard drive was overheating because of the high temperature here, and because it doesn't have a proper ventilation system. I had to open the back of my laptop where the HDD is located so a cooling mat would lower the temperature. It did the trick, but I don't like to use it all the time, specially if i'm on my bed :(
The worst part is that I wasn't even doing anything heavy on the computer when this happened (and by that I mean playing :P)
That sucks! I am pretty sure laptops are not "designed" to be used on beds or other soft surfaces though. So that is probably why...as much as Geli would like to say otherwise, it does cause an intense buildup oh heat, that on a flat surface doesn't happen. They are usually still able to hack it for a long while, but I guess the dry heat over there and a soft surface were too much for that laptop.
ReplyDeletelaptops should be made for bed use already! whats wrong with these engineers and their obsession with flat surfaces?!
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahhaha it's cause they all think like Chuy!
