So, today a couple of friends and I went to Kinsui to eat sushi (well, we went to another restaurant first, but it was too full to have a good conversation), first time I went there, usually when I eat sushi my brother brings it from Katsura (the restaurant we went first) since it is close to were he works, the menu looked pretty good and I'd love to taste them all, but I have this little problem. Every time I eat shrimp I get an allergic reaction, a mild one, but an allergic reaction nonetheless, the problem was that almost 1/3 of the menu had some, and I had to skip all of that, and since were sharing our sushi rolls so the three of us could have some variety they skipped them too :'( they are awesome.
I have been getting this reaction for not more than 4 years now, and it really is bothersome to not have the option of eating something you like. Well, at least its not as bad as when my sister was allergic to avocados, the only thing worse than not having the option of eat something you like is not having the option of eating something you love.
I also ordered some Yakimeshi and I was surprised that the flavor was so close to the one I do, it had better presentation, but the flavor wasn't that far away, either theirs isn't that good, or mine is awesome, I prefer the second option. :P
That sucks :(
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, sushi rocks!! I love it!
simple solution, eat veggie sushi only, it's delicious, so why not?! :) and yes, i love sushi, i dont care which vegetables are in it, the only essential one in my view is avocado!
ReplyDeleteYeah, sushi is awesome. But it definitely doesn't need shellfish to be good! Avocado rolls, for example, are waaaay too awesome!
