Yo dough

Yesterday I some made bread, it wasn't ciabatta though because I couldn't find the flour I needed (seriously, I went to 4 different stores and they didn't had bread flour in any of them), so I made another one with all purpose flour.
I started with the sponge the day before yesterday in the night because it needs to stand there between 12 to 24 hours.
The sponge before letting it stand for the night
After it was done I continued the dough preparation adding the rest of the ingredients and let it stand for another 2 hours,

Final dough preparation before letting it stand, it doesn't look that different but it grows considerably more.
so after almost 2 hours it was ready to the final preparation step, the molding, when I gave the dough the form that I wanted I had to let it stand for another 2 hours so it would get more volume.
I forgot to take pictures of the bread before putting it inside the oven but it doesn't look that different than the final product, just a little more pale :P
This is how they look after baking them, they need a little more color though :P

So the question here is, was it good? I which I could answer that, but they where gone by the time I woke up... well not really, I'm joking, but one of them disappeared before I was even able to taste it, luckily my mom wrapped the other one so no one would eat it, but my father was already waiting for me so he could get some of it.

I like this bread better than box bread like bimbo or other commercial brands, it feels like they have no flavor. Thats why I prefer home made bread, but it takes so long to make, and there aren't many places where I can get it, so when I have a chance I bake some.

  1. Yup. You are right! Home made brad always beats store bread! Even though they have pretty awesome and cheap bread here, when geli bakes, it is better!
