...A tasty tasty lie
To celebrate the mothers day I baked a cake to her while she was out, but I wanted to make something special, and so I decided to decorate this one like the portal cake, I didn't had that much time so I had to do it as quick as I could, and trying at the same time to not mess it because of that.
Should I had a little more time it would look a little more like the one in the game (I tend to be a little to perfectionist with my cooking :P), even though I think I did a decent job in that, presentation in foods is not my forte, but everyone loved it, so mission accomplished :P

ReplyDeleteIn the game portal the starting plot is that you are to test a new weapon, the portal gun, with the promise of a cake after the tests are done, while you advance in the game, and after escaping death (and getting out of the course of the tests) you find a wall with the words "the cake is a lie" all over it.
ReplyDeleteIt is now a meme that was people translate as "the promised reward is merely a fictitious motivator".
And after beating the game they show you that cake, so the cake wasn't a lie after all :P
