Saturday Night...

So, here I am, it is Saturday night and I am still waiting to see if this anime I watch every Saturday night or Sunday morning gets uploaded, some years ago I was a big fan of anime and watched many when I had the time, but some time ago I decided to stop watching most of them. Except this one that I watch every weekend if it is uploaded.

What anime is this? One Piece, the only anime I find worth watching right now (after full metal alchemist finished). I know there must be more good animes and maybe even better, but I can't start watching anything else, specially if it isn't a short one (between 20 or 60 episodes), 100 episodes or more are too much to even care right now :P (there are 495 of One Piece right now), this one I started watching it like 2 or 3 years ago after my brother told me it was pretty good.

Since I had already watched this one in fox when i was still little I despised it because it looked very stupid and the voices where worse. after my brother told me and since he had already watched like 200 episodes I gave it a  chance.

The first seasons looked to childish, but the voices and emotions of the characters where really improved with the original voices, and other thing i loved was the fact that it matured over time, the characters I see in the current episodes are nothing like the ones 200 or 300 episodes before, and still they conserve the essence that made One Piece One piece.

All in all, it's a great story and anime and I love it, but would never do what I did with this (watch more than 300 episodes in less than a month) again with any other anime. I hate it at first (I mainly blame dubbing and censorship in the US for this)  but learned to love it.

  4. Yeah, Trigun is awesome I watched it a few years ago, Death Note too, but it wasn't that good for me, I liked it but not that much, Caballeros del Zodiaco was awesome when i was little, I wanted to watch the newer sagas, and I did download some episodes but for some reason I never watched more than 3 or 4 episodes before forgetting about it.

Draon Ball, I watched every episode of it when i was little too in Televisa XD, other than Sergio what kid of our generation didn't watch Dragon Ball? Same with Ranma 1/2.

Las aventuras de Fly (or Dragon Quest: Dai no Daiboken) was another great anime but they never finished that one, I read all the manga some years ago and thought it was great. Too bad they never finished the anime.

Oh, and yeah, One Piece doesn't look that great, but after getting used to the animations and the weird powers they have (at first I even felt embarrassed of watching) it is as great, if not greater than Dragon Ball, specially in the fighting scenes. Emotionally speaking, the author knows how to get to you.
