Retro...

There is this youtuber (Total Biscuit) that I like to watch regularly who makes first impressions of video games (not reviews) and comments about different topics about video games and the video game industry. Today I watched a video of a RPG that looked pretty good, I had seen it before but I wasn't interested in it until today, I had read that it was a great game, but never cared to see how it was or what it was about. When I watched the video I decided to buy it, it was only 3 bucks (for this and Breath of Death VII) .

I haven't played it yet, but I will do it soon enough, I loved this kind of RPG's and the game dialog in this one looks hilarious, specially when Cthulhu breaks the fourth wall. The retro style of SNES RPG's, the music, everything looks just like the games I used to play when I was little :P, I think it'll be lots of fun if the game continues as it is shown in the video.

WTF just happened?...

This afternoon I went to a local store like 2 blocks away from my home to buy some tostadas, usually this store has its doors closed as a security measure, but not today, when I opened the door it felt weird since I always have to ring the bell or knock at the door, well, I didn't care about it, but as soon as I picked other things I had to buy, a guy got in gun in hand. I saw it before he began to threaten us but I didn't saw his face, just the gun... I didn't understand what he was saying (maybe because he was stoned and was talking weird) but I got on the floor and lay there with the owners son and another customer.

He then made the owners son open the cash register and he got all the money he could and ran away, lucky for me and another customer he didn't robbed us and we didn't got hit or anything... well, he did aim the gun at me when I was standing, , but dammit I was so pissed, and I didn't get a chance to see him, I only saw the gun and I wasn't going to risk myself for a few pesos. And besides, the owner he has a safe-deposit box where they put part of the earnings for this kind of situation, so it wasn't a total loss.

Foul-mouthed

Today I was scolded again, but this time it was from a 4 year old boy... this sucks.

I was scolded because I was saying something to my sister and I said the word "wey", I don't even remember what was I talking about, but he said to me that I shouldn't use that word because "it is a bad word", my sister asked him why it was a bad word but he didn't know what to answer, she asked him if it was because "god" would get angry for using that word and he said no, then she asked if it was bad because of her mother and said yes, this made us laugh but I couldn't resist asking why he knew that it was a bad word and the kid said that because his mom would get angry and scold him, lol.

On the edge...

So, here I am, 3:50 and I woke up with my laptop on the edge of the bed, I fell sleep with it before writing anything and woke up because I was cold, this week was something busy, I had a presentation yesterday of "Maquetación" (don't know if it is translated to Laying out or something like that) in css and it went pretty well. Except from that, the rest of the week was pretty normal, busy, but pretty normal, and now I will move this thing to another place before I brake it >.<

Compromise...

Next week I will be finished with my "assistant", she finishes practices next week and I won't have to go to CAPSIC except for my patients, meetings and when I am needed there. But I feel that I am don't have the compromise there anymore, since I left the other project I feel that I have been distant from CAPSIC and its events (I didn't go to the two last events, but that was because I didn't sleep the day before in the two events).

Unfortunately the project I left was to obtain resources so CAPSIC would be able to continue working, but it was too much pressure for me alone and I declined continuing with it alone when I was given the choice, when I wanted to help with that I was supposed to only do the written part, which I did, but since no one else wanted to help I was in charge to do the rest, go to institutions and with people that might donate to CAPSIC, this I didn't wanted to do, I didn't have the time.

This Monday another co-worker announced that she was working with this project and asked the rest of us to aid in it, or to form a team for this project, or do something :P, I decided to help, but not the way I was working with it, I will be helping them with the logistics and organization, and this time I will stick with what I say I will do. 

16-FP

So, I found a laptop that was in my house that can read floppy disks, it was in my dad's man cave :P and since he isn't using it I grabbed it and took it to CAPSIC to check the floppy I was talking about the other day, it worked, and it gave a pretty good review of the test, the only turn down is that it is limited to only 25 uses, after that I don't know if we have to buy a new license or just renew it, that sucks.

BTW, this test is called 16-FP (16 factores de personalidad), and is used to measure, as the names says, the personality, it gives a pretty accurate result (most of the times), I prefer the other one I talked about the other day because the other one gives more insight, but this one is pretty good to (and not as long, it can be from 160 to 200 questions).

Chill out...

So, yesterday and today I have been scolded by some co-workers and my mom because I don't carry my jacket, with this weather I don't feel like using it, I feel comfortable with just my shirt, and I actually enjoy being a little cold, the other reason is because I am lazy too :P I don't like to carry my jacket everywhere, I know that I'll have to take it off in most places and it is a nuisance. But the main reason is because I don't care about the cold weather, I can tolerate lower temperatures than this :P
